Just when we'd seen enough rooftop dance parties, block parties and downtown street carnivals, here comes yet another cute and boutique nightlife concept. London's Silent Disco series, which has taken place at quirky venues like the Cutty Sark and the National History Museum, is making its foray into Asia, withi Singapore as the first stop. (Congrats, Singapore)

Silent Disco Asia takes place on May 14, 8pm. Rather than some fancy club, they're going to team up with the new semi-outdoor bar and party space Kult Kafe on top of Emily Hill, run by the Sundays at the Training Shed people and host to a recent French electro DJ double bill. In case the event name isn't self-explanatory, silent discos are, well, silent. Each partygoer dons a pair of light-studded noise-cancelling headphones. Three DJs spin at the same time, and you choose which channel to tune in and dance to: disco on the green channel, rock on the red channel and house on the blue channel. The result is the rather surreal sight of people dancing in silence to a tri-colored light show.

There are only 250 tickets on sale, and they're only $20 a pop (including one drink), so our guess is they will disappear fast. Get yours here.
