Singapore Art Museum

The Singapore Art Museum holds a permanent collection of approximately 7,000 South and East Asian contemporary and modern art—the largest collection held by a public institution in the world. Admission $10 (adult), $5 (students and senior citizens).
Location
Situated along the Waterloo Street Arts Belt, and housed in the restored 19th-century mission school of St. Joseph's Institution, Singapore Art Museum (SAM) has amassed one of the world's largest public collections of contemporary Southeast Asian artworks since it opened in 1996. It also has an expanding collection of new Asian and international contemporary art. The museum has both a permanent collection as well as regular exhibitions of visiting works from some of the best museums in the world such as Centre Pompidou and the Guggenheim.
