SINGAPORE RESTAURANT

Tea Lounge

We dare say they’ve got some of the most delish scones in town (we favor the blackcurrant ones), served with Devonshire clotted cream, strawberry jam and lemon curd at both their weekday afternoon tea ($38, $59 with a glass of Mumm champers, $110 free-flow Mumm; Mon-Fri noon-5pm) and weekend high tea buffet ($48; Sat-Sun 1-5:30pm). We’ve been guilty of wiling entire Sundays away while nibbling on delectables like chocolate-yuzu tarts, ricotta soufflés (made à la minute) and macarons. There’s also a pianist from 2-4:45pm daily; talk about setting the mood.
