SINGAPORE RESTAURANT

Bridge

A cafe-restaurant-bar serving modern European food in an unassuming space behind Raffles Hotel

This unassuming Seah Street joint is pretty easy to miss if you're walking past the row of shophouses. A cafe by day and restobar by night, aside from brewing coffees, they serve up a range of modern European dishes.

Despite the hipster-looking signage, they've got a host of unfussy and comforting dishes like beef cheek stew, fish & chips, grilled codfish with spaghetti, and unexpected items like watercress soup. With white-washed walls and poured concrete floors, the space is pretty minmalist and industrial-chic. It's got a chill vibe complete with an alfresco area that's ideal for after-work drinks. Although the drinks are pretty standard, they serve a range of wines, beers, housepours and signature cocktails.
