Part of a tribute to the screen siren, The Screening Room is showing her extensive body of work. In Some Like it Hot, she plays a jazz singer who attracts the attention of two musicians who have witnessed a murder (Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon) . These musicians resort to cross-dressing as females in a bid to escape from a gang war, whilst competing for Monroe's affections at the same time. Expect lots of laughs and some cringe-worthy gender relations.
