This November the Kempinski group opens up its latest hotel in Myanmar, bringing a touch of luxury to the capital of Nay Pyi Taw. The property will have 141 rooms and suites spread over four villas, including a 1,000 sq m. Grand Royal Suite that will be the biggest hotel room in the country. The design gives a nod to Burmese heritage with lots of teakwood and local arts, crafts and furnishings. There's a total of five restaurants and bars serving a mix of local and European food, as well as an outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and spas. Kempinski is offering an introductory rate of USD180 ($228) for a Premier Suite until Dec 31.

Meanwhile, the capital of China's Hubei province, Wuhan, gets shiny new digs in the form of premium serviced residences.
