Acquired by NUS from donations by Ms Agnes Tan, the Baba House was once the ancestral home of a Straits Chinese family. It was conceived as a heritage house which facilitates the appreciation, reflection and research into the Straits Chinese history and culture.

Heritage tours are conducted four times a week, for an hour each. Book ahead as visits to NUS Baba House are by appointment only.

Events Happening at Baba House
This exhibition highlights a series of artworks arising from the collaboration between two modern artists, Samantha Tio and Budi Agung Kuswara, as well as batik makers from the central Javanese village of Kebon Indah. By appointment only.
