The vibe: Simple and unfussy, the small space has a DIY concept meant for on-the-go and takeaway eating. The perimeter is fitted in pale wooden countertops displaying numerous toppings, while the cheery yellow walls are a vibrant addition for a morning perk-me-up.

The food: Choose from three cup sizes (small $4.50, medium $6.80, large $8.50) that you can load up with whatever toppings you like at no additional charge. Although there are only two base options (yogurt and oats) the flavors rotate each day. Toppings include "it" health foods like chia seeds, flaxseeds, granola from The Edible Co. and all sorts of nuts. There are also options like cereals, although they're generally of the big-brand store bought variety, as well as fresh and canned fruit. 

The drinks: They specialize in sweet and zingy power probiotic drink Kefir ($4), a clear maple-colored drink made from the same cultures you find in Yakult. Otherwise, there's a range of drinks like coconut water ($2.50) and almond milk from The Mlk Co (from $6.50).

Why you'll be back: It's a healthy snack bar that beats the morning alternatives like grilled sandwiches and muffins. The yogurt is smooth and tart, while the build-your-own-cup concept means you can cram in your favorites without paying more.
