IMG Artists and UBS kicked off the launch of this year's Singapore Sun Festival (Oct 29-Nov 7) in an impressive event held at the prestigious Raffles Hotel on Aug 6. The launch revealed a star-studded lineup of multi award-winning artistes like superstar producer-songwriter David Foster and his protégé Charice, Hollywood actress Sharon Stone, songstress Natalie Cole, George Benson, celebrity chef Curtis Stone and many others. We were also treated to a "live" satellite preview of Foster's and Charice's performances, including a beautiful rendition of "I Will Always Love You", originally sung by Whitney Houston.

As if his presence in Singapore wasn't enough, Foster promised audience participation in his performances, "In all my concerts, I usually get someone from the audience to sing for me because I believe that in every audience, there is someone who's great, or who thinks they're great." Fans can look forward to rubbing shoulders with their favorite artistes at meet and greet sessions and after parties during ten of the most lustrous days this year.
