Yoga Beat at Orchard Road (Nov 1)

As part of Orchard Road's pedestrianization program, popular sportswear brand Lululemon Athletica will be organizing a massive hip hop yoga block party. Registration will take place at 5:30pm, with classes beginning at 8pm.  

Pops of the Top (Nov 6)

The third edition of crowd-favorite Pops of the Top is back with local veteran DJs Ginette Chittick and Jinmart helming the decks. Chittick has opened for prominent bands such as Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs and Foster the People, whilst Jinmart (of Zouk Poptart fame) has played alongside indie outfits like Bombay Bicycle Club. 

Adult Playground (Nov 8)

Don't be fooled by its risqué name—this outdoor festival, which is organized by 22 Experience, will feature exciting games like archery tag, dodgeball, paintball, human foosball and more. Local acts like The Sam Willows and Jack and Rai will also be taking to the stage for a concert.

Joe Satriani World Tour 2014 (Nov 13)

Arguably one of rock music's most influential guitarists, Joe Satriani will be heading to Singapore for a one-night only concert. Known for his technical virtuoso, Satriani begin his career teaching some of the top rock guitar players such as Steve Vai and Metallica's Kirk Hammet.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Nov 13-16)

Shakespeare fans will not want to miss the original production of one of the Bard's most famous plays, directed by Dominic Dromgoole (artistic director at the Globe). The production will also feature Renaissance costumes and staging.

Da Vinci: Shaping the Future (Nov 15-May 1)

This exhibition showcases numerous original pieces from Leonardo Da Vinci's personal collection. Expect to see 26 pages from the Codex Atlanticus, a notebook with important drawings and writings throughout the artist's life, as well as interactive exhibits allowing an in-depth look into Da Vinci's artistic and scientific pursuits.

Bill Bailey Limboland - Live in Singapore (Nov 17)

Best known for his stand up shows and appearances on television series' like QI and ABCTV’s award winning hit Black Books, expect to be entertained by Bailey's razor-sharp wit and hilarious travel tales. 

Jason Mraz Live in Singapore (Nov 17-18)

Popular recording artist Jason Mraz returns to Singapore to promote his latest album "Yes!", produced in collaboration with rock folk-band Raining Jane. The two-time Grammy winner gained international recognition with his classic single "I'm Yours", and has since earned multi-platinum certifications in numerous countries.

Waiting for Godot (Nov 19-22)

Watch Samuel Beckett's absurdist masterpiece in this international production from Dublin. In the play, two characters named Vladimir and Estragon wait endlessly and in vain for someone called Godot. 

Affordable Art Fair (Nov 20-23)

Everyone's favorite art fair returns. Aside from the usual artworks priced below $10,000, visitors can look forward to more hands-on activities such as live art demonstrations, artist talks and multi-disciplinary workshops in sculpture-making, watercoloring and photography.

Checkpoint Theatre The Way We Go (Nov 20-29)

Written by rising playwright Joel Tan, this production centers around the life of a former principal and the relationships valuable to her, exploring the fragility and complexity of love and all the costs attached to it.

Sole Superior (Nov 22)

This premier sneaker and street wear convention will take place across all three venues of Zouk, featuring over 45 partners and brands including Tell Your Children and FleshIMP, along with well-known labels like Nike and Adidas.

Singapore Art Fair (Nov 27-30)

The first edition of the Singapore Art Fair will feature artworks from the ME.NA.SA (Middle East, North Africa, Asia and Southeast Asia) region. Visitors can expect art from around 100 galleries and solo shows from at least 20 individual artists. 

Zouk Sound System presents Gareth Emery and Hong (Nov 28)

One of electronic music's most influential producers, Gareth Emery, is playing at Zouk. He released his debut album "Northern Lights" to critical acclaim, and hit number one on the US iTunes dance chart shortly after. Expect hits like "Concrete Angel", which racked up one million YouTube plays within the first three weeks online.

4th Rendezvous with French Cinema (Nov 28-Dec 7)

The fourth edition of this French film festival features a special tribute to actress Juliette Binoche. The series opens with comedy Serial (Bad) Weddings, with screenings held at the Alliance Française de Singapour, Shaw Lido and The Cathay Cineplex.

 

Hoobastank Live in Singapore 2014 (Nov 30)

Rock band Hoobastank returns to Singapore this November for a one-night only concert. The band will be touring in support of their latest album “Fight or Flight”. Previous hits include rock anthem “The Reason”, “Crawling in the Dark” and “Remember Me”.
