The first Southeast edition of Japanese dating event Machicon launches on February 25.

Set to take place at 11 restaurants along the Singapore River at Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay, the event allows singles to mingle while dining and enjoying free-flow drinks.

To sign up, participants pay $100 (for men) and $60 (for women) at the Machicon website. Then, on February 25, they meet at Katanashi from 5pm to 7pm, where they’ll receive a wrist band and access to three out of 11 participating restaurants.

The restaurants include En Grill & Bar, Okinawa Mimigar, Orihara Liquor Shop & Bar and Ma Maison.
